SaaS Platform for Digital Menu and Hospitality Management

Savory is a SaaS product I developed for cafes, restaurants and hospitality businesses that need a simple way to manage their digital presence and customer-facing menu experience from one platform.

The project was designed as a reusable, scalable application rather than a single-business website. Each business can manage its own content, products and public-facing experience while the platform maintains separation between tenants, application logic and shared infrastructure.

The Product Challenge

Small hospitality businesses often rely on printed menus, social media posts and manually updated web pages. This creates duplicated work whenever prices, products, categories or availability change.

Savory centralizes that workflow in a SaaS environment, allowing businesses to maintain their customer-facing menu and digital information without requiring a separate custom website deployment for every location.

SaaS Architecture

Multi-Tenant Business Model

The application is structured around independent business accounts, allowing multiple hospitality businesses to use the same platform while keeping their operational and customer-facing data isolated.

Centralized Menu Management

Businesses can maintain menu categories, products, pricing and presentation from a controlled management interface instead of editing static pages manually.

Public Customer Experience

Each business receives a customer-facing digital experience optimized for fast menu browsing across mobile devices, making the platform suitable for QR-based menu access and direct customer use.

Scalable SaaS Foundation

Shared platform services make it possible to add subscription plans, feature limits, analytics, integrations and additional hospitality modules without rebuilding the product for each customer.

Designed for Repeatable Customer Onboarding

One of the key differences between Savory and a conventional restaurant website is repeatability. New businesses can be onboarded into the same product model instead of starting a separate software project for each customer.

This makes the application commercially scalable: the same core platform can serve independent cafes, restaurants, bars and hospitality businesses while allowing each tenant to manage its own identity, menu structure and customer experience.

Platform Area Capability Business Value
Tenant management Independent business accounts Enables one SaaS platform to serve multiple customers
Menu administration Product and category management Reduces manual website and printed-menu updates
Customer access Mobile-friendly digital menu Improves menu accessibility and customer convenience
SaaS operations Shared application infrastructure Supports scalable onboarding and future subscription plans
Product evolution Extensible module architecture Creates room for analytics, ordering, reservations and integrations

Product-Oriented Development

Savory was developed as a product with reusable business logic, tenant-aware data structures and a clear separation between administration and public customer interfaces.

This approach makes the codebase easier to extend with future SaaS capabilities such as subscription billing, usage limits, advanced analytics, online ordering, reservations, POS integrations, CRM functionality and hospitality automation.

From a Digital Menu to a Scalable Hospitality SaaS Product

Savory demonstrates how a focused operational problem can become a reusable SaaS product. Rather than building separate websites for individual hospitality businesses, the platform provides one extensible application that can support many customers through a shared software model.

The architecture can continue evolving into a broader hospitality platform with online ordering, reservations, customer analytics, POS integrations, CRM capabilities and automated customer engagement.
