We built GtipTakip after seeing how fragmented, time-consuming, and risky customs classification can be in Turkey.

Importers and e-commerce sellers often need to jump between tariff directories, spreadsheets, regulatory notices, and expert consultations just to answer three basic questions:

GtipTakip brings that workflow into one place.

GTIP is Turkey’s 12-digit customs classification code, based on the international Harmonized System. With GtipTakip, you describe a product in plain language and receive the most likely GTIP candidates with a confidence score and a transparent Section → Chapter → Heading → GTIP reasoning path.

After selecting a code, the platform calculates customs duty, additional customs duty, anti-dumping, VAT, and total landed cost using the product’s origin, customs value, freight, and other relevant inputs. It also flags requirements such as TAREKS, CE, surveillance measures, import permits, and product-safety controls.

For teams handling many products, we added saved codes, regulatory-change alerts, bulk Excel processing, downloadable reports, API access, and multi-client workspaces for customs brokerage offices.

Our goal is not to replace customs professionals or official Binding Tariff Information. It is to help businesses research faster, identify risky classifications earlier, and make better purchasing, pricing, and compliance decisions before goods reach customs.
